So you want to read the Young Writers Literary Journal, but lack the funds? Not a problem: borrow it from the library!
Of course, no library currently has a copy of the Journal, so what you need to do is to request the library to buy a copy. How do you do this?
In all cases, you can to your local library and request for them to buy a copy of the Journal. Most of the time they'll ask you to fill out a "purchase suggestion card."
In some cases, though, you can do this online as long as you have a library card. To check online, first go to your county's or local region's web site. Then find the library section, and look around for something like "Suggest a Title."
Here's an example for Fairfax County, Virginia:
https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/library/suggesttitle.htm
Since you need a library card in Fairfax, I can't suggest a title, but I'm sure there's someone here who does live in Fairfax.
By the way, if you have friends on the site who go to school with you or live nearby, try to suggest the Journal at the same library. A library is far more likely to buy a copy if two people suggest it. |

That's a pretty awesome idea, Nate. I think I'll suggest it to my library as soon as I've bought my copy off of Amazon Afterall, it's much easier to persuade friends to read it if they can borrow it from the library and you never know, some day there might be a copy in every town =) |

Already sent my suggestion in.
And reserved a copy, as well. |
