Hey!
I'm Chelsey, but ya i dont care what people call me either! well, um, i've been a writer since i was 11, but im now 19 and am an english major at my college! I guess i love all genres, even though fantasy/young adult/with-modern-twists is my kinda thing right now. and i have no idea how this stuff works but im sure i'll figure it out! oh, and im one of those writers who wrote in secret so ive never really gotten anything published. im a noobie |

Hollieberry: Don't worry about posting your work on a site like this, no one's going to steal it. And welcome to the site, I think you and I will get along just fine. I used to have a subscription for wordsmith until I grew too old for the young adult's version and they were one of the first magazines to publish my work. I am a point whore, and a newbie. So here I go.
Im Charley, I write sometimes.
I am getting bored and uncreative this summer and thus I am showing my work to anonymous strangers with the hopes that my self esteem will be destroyed. But also to see what's going on in the writing world right now. I am dissatisfied in the extreme with modern literature and I hope to see a resurgence with our generation.

Yo Charley:) You seem... very interesting... Completely insane of course, and all that jazz;)
Like me.
I absolutely understand about all that modern lit stuff, if you can call all of it literature. Stupid gossip girls and all that sort of crap (I couldn't really think of any other examples, seeing as how I don't go near any of it, so no offense anybody). I hope you aren't completely disgusted with our stuff. You sound like you'll be a very critical reviewer, and I'm sure it will do many of us a lot of good.
Sorry if I refrain from completely destroying your self-esteem though. It's not exactly my habit. Besides, running down newbies is rather frowned on here;)

um...hello
im a new member (not sure whether this thread is even to do with them anymore but it seemed lyk a good place to start)
i am 14 at the tym of writing but will be 15 soon (yay)
not rly sure what else to say lol
i've written a bit when i was 13, but haven't written much recently. hopefully this site will inspire me to continue writing (or just scare me away from the idea: you're all so good!)
random fact: my username is based on a misspelling of the surname of one of my favourite musicians (Kurt Cobain) and my two favourite numbers. and it has nothing to do with my real name (which i don't want to post on here as i don't know any of you...yet)
oh, do i need to tell you i'm male?
