Well, the best thing is that it exists. The second best thing is the Chat. It's easier to talk to friends than PM and it's a good way to get connected with other users you normally don't see or talk to. I never would've known half the people I do otherwise. The third best thing is the layout. It's simple and I absolutely love it. It's different.

(By the way, does anyone know why the chat is gone? Nate never gave a reason, are we being grounded or something? =( )

PSHH, he'd tell us if that was the reason. It's a lame chat - probably under repairs or broken. Nate'll fix it in due time. In the mean time, critique!

I love the blogs. XXD

I love the people. They're fun and random. That's what makes the whole thing worthwhile for me.

I love the fact that we're kept up to date on all things happening on YWS. If there isn't going to be a radio show, we know right away. Chat disappearing? We know exactly why and for how long. The information upkeep is top-notch! /sarcasm

It's the people who make this place awesome. Very Happy

I love the blogs. They're such a nifty way for everyone to express themselves with personal things and recieve support and understanding.

I also love that ad up there. "Me? Write a book? Sure! Melissa grew up tending goats. Now she's a published WEbook author."

Cracks me up every time I see it. Tending goats? Laughing

There's so little drama and mostly everyone is nice. Seriously.

I think YWS might be the only forum I've ever been on that hasn't been featured on fandom_wank at one point or another (that I know of), and unlike some other writing sites, the feedback is actually, you know, constructive.

i love how it's so much like a community. Everyones friendly and the members are eager to befriend each other. I also love the independence I have on this site. I like the freedom and the feeling that I'm welcome to contribute to this site. I love that. Most sites aren't like that.

I agree with Adna there should be a poll about this.

I love the sense of community here. Mostly everyone here is friendly and helpful. It's always nice to hear that I really helped someone with their story or just to participate in the forums.

I love the star system. It makes me feel accomplished to get another star and none of the other writing places I've joined have anything like it.

Reviewing. There's always something to review in the forums.

Randomness forum. I love unwinding by banning people or rating avatars.

Or, as casey_kent said,
