i honestly dont mind what you say about it; just thought it was about time i uploaded something else. it must have been over 2 years since i wrote this but thought it would be fun to put it on...enjoy...

Warning: it won't make sense

When I was walking…

One day when I was walking, before me was a toad who laughed its way away and hopped upon a nime.

The toad trollumphed to a halt, and lifted up its throat

And snip snapped for all to hear and suddenly frished and froshed into mid air.

That same nime toad was shortly barked and brundled to me until it shrieked a song for mishy mash to come once again.

The sun was brif and slimed when thy toad disappeared within a distant gleam.

One night when I was walking a songbird swam and reeped to my feet and with a pant of relief unturned a leaf all smishy smosh with gunge, before skying in the air its tail was left behind.

Brinfing off into the night I was left on my lonesome.

That same smosh songbird returned with a leap and gleaped so loud that the squarker bees took groff. And that same nime toad all stiff and loose gallumphed to my golty shoe and primsoned a dof before that nime toad and grefty bird took flight along a woking moon.

One day when I was walking I lifted up a stidity toadpife to show a jibber jabber wake of diop pioty tasting grubs before the nimes awoke…

Hi, bisquit!

Personally, I love nonsense poems. This was entertaining as well, but I just want to say that it wasn't quite a poem, not with that kind of structure. Of course, there can be all kinds of poems, and I'm definitely not the person to talk about what is a poem and what isn't. I still think it's more like a really short fairytale or some nursery rhyme, if you know what I mean. Smile I liked the absurdness, though, but I've never experienced a poem like this. You got me confused. Wink

Keep writing, still Very Happy

This reminds me a lot of the Jabberwock because it's essentially narrative nonsense, but you can still vaguely follow a storyline. If you can take seriously writing 'nonsense', you could make people take seriously reading nonsense ^_^

I agree with Ms. Leja - this definitely reminded me of the Jabberwock. It's a fun little piece, and the way you play with imagery is amusing and aesthetically pleasant to the eye and inner ear. Bravo, really. Smile

That's totally awesome. It reminds me of (youve probably heard this before) "The Jabberwock" by Dodgeson. I really like how you switch between things that you can still recognize and interpret to your own words.

wow, that was really spiffy. it was confusing obviously, but it was so much fun to read, that i didn't even mind. it was definately unique, but it was also just really cute.

"The toad trollumphed to a halt, and lifted up its throat
And snip snapped for all to hear and suddenly frished and froshed into mid air."

That was my favorite part, but don't ask me why. i just like the word trollumphed, and snip snapped, and frished and froshed.

thanks for giving me something fun and cute to read. nice work!

was the person who wrote that this is plagiarism really serious, because that, my friends, is improper use of the word.
For further reading see...
no wait, i don't have a link to a dictionary.
This is not plagiarism at all, but well done to them for learning a new word today!
