Alright, maybe this has been asked before... but how do you choose your avvie? Where do you go? What do you look for? Does it depend on your mood? Is it funny? Thoughtful?
Too many questions? Wait, was that a question? Okay, I'm stopping with all those questions.
But seriously, do you mind describing the process? I like to think of my avatars as my hairstyles; I pick what I like, and after I get tired of it, I find something else. Sometimes, I consider transferring back to previous ones (the pen one is soooo coming back for those who know).

| I picked my avatar according to my main character and his disposition towards others i.e. kill everyone he doesn't like and most of the people he does. (Also I picked it because I think it looks pretty cool) |

| I go to Google and search 100x100 images. Then I save all the ones I like in a folder on my desktop, and choose them one by one to use as avis when I get bored with the one I've got. |

i go to iconator.com and find whichever one that i like best at the moment.
i change my avvies frequently because i get bored with them really quickly. |

i have friends who make awesome avvies and banners and who are happy to make them for me.
the one i have at the moment i found on the internet i think. and i need to change it because it's not really christmas yet. |

I surf the net and jump from site to site till I find something I like. (got loads of potential avvies sitting in my folder.)
I've been sticking with this avvie for months though.
I (surprisingly) never get tired of it.

| I usually find an image that I like and work it a little (colours, levels, textures) until it's perfect. I am, however, planning to start an icon collection from several sites. Didn't know about that iconator one, thanks! |
