I havn't seen a topic like this yet. Anyways. Let's see the whiches fly, the cats meow, and the mummy's moan in everyone creative writings! Here's a poem I just thought of.

On Hallowee'n night, beware of the fright.
The cats' meow, the wolves, fight.
Let sorcerrers test, their magical brews.
While the witches giggle, in the light of the moon.

The children scurry around the block.
The candy is dipleating from everyone's stock.
Don't be too late, or you will see.
The signs on the doors, "Have fun, this Hallowe'en."
They knock, the wait, no one arives.
The worst part of Hallowe'en is when the candy dies.

Gone from the buckets, gone from the street,
inside childrens' bags, which they shall eat.
But don't be greedy, that's not all it.
The fun of Hallowe'en, lies in your wit.

That was just made up in my mind, hope you enjoyed it? How about we all comment on the wonderful creations that shall pop up. They better!! Haha.

I really liked this poem however in some places I felt that you were putting in words just so your verse rhymes with the rest of your poem. It didn't exactly 'click' with the rest of the poem.

THe first stanza was great.

Do you something creative with the first stanza, print it out on a nice poster and put it on your door or something like that.

Happy Halloween!

I'm a godmother, that's a great thing to be, a godmother. She calls me god for short, that's cute, I taught her that.
