You... better not kill it. Taer, that is. *flails*
Ubi caritas est vera, Deus ibi est.
"The mark of your ignorance is the depth of your belief in injustice and tragedy. What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the Master calls the butterfly." ~ Richard Bach
Eleven days until NaNo begins, and I'm switching plots.
I haven't outlined anything in Small Landslides, and I've been thinking more and more about Taer...
So... *takes a deep breath* For Nano, I'm going to combine the two.
It will mostly be Taer, as I've pretty much outlined the whole thing. But I'll add in a subplot similar to Small Landslides, and that will actually help me with another aspect of Taer.
I'm terrified.
But I figure this is my last chance to make it work, you know? I probably wouldn't write it otherwise. So... *shrugs* Here goes nothin'.
*slaps Crysi on the back*
Don't be terrified! My novel has the most complicated plot on the planet, and twice I've had to stop writing and remember what exactly is going on.
And I'm combining subplots as well. Or, at least, I'm thinking about it. Mostly I'm deciding whether i want to put a language i created for another story into my main novel. But I'm not sure it will fit. *is frustrated*
But anyway, enough about me! All your stories sound really interesting, and Taer is so original! I am impressed! Don't be too worried, everything will come together when it needs to.
“We’re still here,” he says, his voice cold, his hands shaking. “We know how to be invisible, how to play dead. But at the end of the day, we are still here.” ~Dax
Teacher: "What do we do with adjectives in Spanish?"
S: "We eat them!"

*is confused*
where did Parseltongue come into this conversation?

And the Small Landslides subplot has been planted.
I've now reached the point where I've always stopped in the past. So... here's hoping, with all the surprises its thrown me so far, I'll be provided with a good storyline.
