Ooh!! From the first poems you posted on YWS to these! They are so beautiful indeed^^ And also fancy in a way, elegant really <33
“It is always sad when someone leaves home, unless they are simply going around the corner and will return in a few minutes with ice cream sandwiches.” - Lemony Snicket
21 - Giver John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
He gave us a gift we could never repay His only Son, the innocent lamb Hysterical cries from mother Mary and more Witnessing the Messiah be hung for no crime His blood on the cross shed great for our sin The empty tomb to win over all evil and death He gave us grace in the form of our own kind I will praise and be overjoyed by gratitude for All that He has given, from the bread of His flesh To the promise of eternal life Thank You, Lord
22 - Shepherd Isaiah 40:11 He tends His flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart; He gently leads those that have young.
What a cause for celebration it is To be a flock of sheep, together and growing When He speaks, we recognize His voice We know His will for us, we draw near For He provides, protects, and loves us dearly Leading us through every path, rocky or calm He saves those lost and trembling, standing alone He calls their name and they know They are seen, heard, and never to be alone again What a beautiful thing it is To be found sheep loved by a gracious shepherd
23 - Wrathful Nahum 1:2 The Lord is a jealous and avenging God; the Lord takes vengeance and is filled with wrath. The Lord takes vengeance on His foes and vents His wrath against His enemies.
Wrath. What an evocative word that we love to shy away from. Don’t we feel it too, though: An anger rising like a tsunami until it takes our enemies, and us too, down til we are bodies washed up on shores. But what good does our wrath do? A pitifully selfish thing it is, really, swaying us away from all things good. We are not little gods. But because our wrath will never be truly upright, we need a judge whose anger is perfect in nature, a wrath not to make us hidden and scared, but to make us realize the importance of knowing Him. Do not fear the word wrath, but stay obedient, stay near.
24 - Omniscient Psalm 147:5 Great is our Lord and mighty in power; His understanding has no limit.
As a kid, we stumble over our explanations Begging for the other to just hear us out But with You, silence can be communication When my cries are quiet yet my pain is so loud Your listening ear gives comfort in any situation For You know all until my voice is again found
25 - Omnipresence Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.
You are in the veins of every leaf, in every cloud in the sky In the winds that in my hair I feel swiftly passing through Every surface or expanse we see contains your careful eye Watching us, protecting us, so we may not stray from truth You see my heart, my joys, my pain, and the sin I try to hide Whether we make ourselves big or small, we cannot shy away from you
26 - Omnipotent Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Not a wizard, a genie, or witch Your power fully divine and pure Able to do all without even a flick I’m amazed at how much I’ve endured At the hands of yours, so perfect With you my faith is sealed and secure
27 - Father 1 Corinthians 8:6 Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
The orphans find a home In the arms of The Father Who created all things good; Light, flowers, joy, and butterflies Those lonely and fatherless Find refuge in one who will, could, Never abandon nor forsake May we take comfort in His Fatherly, undying, love for us Strays who heard the calling And ran to our new home
28 - Son/Man 1 John 5:20 We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
A man made from dust, we are, Created in the image of Him Who came down, graced this Earth for too short His beauty of wisdom and love Unmatched to any goddess We carve by hand And He fulfilled hundred-year Prophesies, He gives hope For a life after death And yet we took Him for Granted, put Him on that Cross, cried wolf on the lamb Who uttered forgiveness with His last breaths My tongue tied in astonishment My lips crying out in praise Of Jesus of Nazareth Our Christ and our Lord
Yours, Fleur ♡ Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever ~ Was previously Lullaby ~
29 - Holy Spirit John 14:26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
Like a rose blooming in my soul Like an ember catching flame in my belly Like a light painting over the bruises on my heart
I feel His spirit dwelling within me
My thoughts of discernment reigned by His whisper My eyes become open, enlightened to all color My tongue tamed, quiet and meek
And none of it is from my own doing or work
Praise be to God for His spirit who has Changed me into a new creation One so enamored by His glory—a moth drawn
30 - "I AM" Exodus 3:14 God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’”
What an overwhelmingly beautiful thought Of the everlasting God and His presence For He is the good, He is the way, He is the dawn
He makes it all possible, even the lame to walk Through His grace we are gifted His guidance What an overwhelmingly beautiful thought
Nothing from His being can be flawed His elegance covers every inch of expanse For He is the good, He is the way, He is the dawn
To the wrongful who simply sit and scoff He is loving to forgive through our repentance What an overwhelmingly beautiful thought
We are the beings for which He has called Our faithfulness must not cower in silence Through Him we can comfort those distraught
Nothing could make me in more awe Than everything that makes up His essence What an overwhelmingly beautiful thought For He is the good, He is the way, He is the dawn

Dear Everyone Who Read This Thread, Thank you. I don't commonly write religious or spiritual poetry, but through doing this I have learned how much I love it as it allows me to use my passion to glorify God. It was very important to me that I finished the thread even if it meant being done in May, unfortunately that was the case. But I am so thankful I got to write these poems and share them with you guys! I hope and pray that it inspired at least one of you, for God loves you and us so so much. I don't have much to say except thank you for the patience on this and for the dedication to those who have read all 30 poems. Much love and appreciation, Fleur ❀♡
I just love the whole concept and execution of this! Such a wonderful thread to read - thank you for sharing your faith and reflections through such thoughtful poetry! Congratulations on completing NaPo too! <3
