Caged...

What am I supposed to do
when all I feel is trapped?
Caged like an animal
on display?

My breathing room is slowly
diminishing, growing smaller
with each breath I take.
Consuming me.

I’m constantly looking around,
at this desolated land,
searching for some glimmer
of hope.

There is no hope,
no joy to be found.
It’s like every time
I turn my back

I’m being judged.
How am I supposed to
know what is a lie,
and what is the truth?

My mind is in a whirlwind.

Wow, this is a really intriguing(?) story. I like the way you wrote it, my favorite books like Crank are like this. You have a real act for writing and I would love to read more by you. I like the mood you set and the questions you put into the readers head. It makes everything a lot more exciting and fun. This way we can think, "What's going to happen next?"

PS. Sorry about my spelling. I'm not really the greatest at it.

"The trouble with Borrowing another mind was, you always felt out of place when you got back to your own body, and Granny was the first person ever to read the mind of a building. Now she was feeling big and gritty and full of passages. 'Are you all right?' Granny nodded, and opened her windows. She extended her east and west wings and tried to concentrate on the tiny cup held in her pillars."
