Verse 1:
Stand up tall,
Stand up mighty,
Maybe one day
You'll be like them.
Never got a worry.
Never got a care.
Never got to worry,
cause other people got it all.

Chorus:
Never have to think about tomorrow.
Never have to dream cause you got all.
Maybe they are the lucky ones, but so are we.

They don't have the joy of song,
They don't have the way with words,
They don't have the days we have.

We got it all.

They don't have to think about tomorrow,
But isn't that the joy of life?
They don't have to remember
the little memories.

Maybe they are the lucky ones, but we're the dreamers.

Verse 2:
They got all the joy in the wrong places.
And we got problems in all the right places,
Cause they make us stronger than before.

So let the words flow outta you,
and let them see the dawn.
Let them see the things their missing,
cause we got it all.

Stand up high,
Stand up mighty,
Cause we got it all.
We got it all.

Chorus:
Never have to think about tomorrow,
Never have to dream cause you got all.
Maybe they are the lucky ones, but so are we.

They don't have the joy of song,
They don't have the way with words,
They don't have the days we have.

We got it all.

They don't have to think about tomorrow,
But isn't that the joy of life?
They don't have to remember
the little memories.
Maybe they are the lucky ones, but we are the writers.

Bridge:
Stand up tall,
stand mighty,
We finally figured out.
That we got it all.
We got it all.
They have to think about tomorrow,
but isn't that where we dream?

They don't have to remember
the song,
playing in their head.
They don't have to remember.
The words.
The song.
But we do,
and isn't that where the joy is?
The joy of life.

Chorus:
Never have to think about tomorrow,
Never have to dream cause you got all.
Maybe they are the lucky ones, but so are we.

They don't have the joy of song,
They don't have the way with words,
They don't have the days we have.

We got it all.

They don't have to think about tommorow,
But isn't that the joy of life?
They don't have to remember
the little memories.

Maybe they are the lucky ones, but we're the writers.
The writers of dreams.

Ending:
They have to think about tommorow,
but isn't that where we dream?
They don't have to remember

We're the writers.
The writers of dreams...
hush, my sweet
these tornadoes are for you

First of all very good song and idea of the theme. It was interesting.
Also you dont have to tell us if something is the "verse, chorus, ending" I tink we can figure it out, but you can still do it.
My only problem is that the lyrics did not seem stable at all with the beat. Usually when I read a lyric withought the music I can bend it under and simple beat, and most of the lyrics will bend into it, but yours did not at all. I do not know, maybe you have a melody for it, and its perfect. Just next time try to make all lines equal, not some too short and others too long, and not have differant rhyme patterns.

I agree, I couldn't find the beat either, but I liked it a lot, and maybe you do have a melody for it. I also agree that it's a great theme. I can't really think of anything that's wrong with it. Good job, with spelling and grammer. That's about it.

I would love to hear this as a song. This would be something I would listen to over and over just to get it stuck in my head, something I would memorize just so I could sing it in my spare time. I love how you present one point, then the other, and put it together at the end. Perhaps you could make the first verse a little longer, but as it is it's very nice. It's not choppy, I think it flows pretty well.
Maybe they are the lucky ones, but we're the writers.
The writers of dreams.

That was my favorite line. Over all, a great poem, a great song. Keep writing!
something something dragons something something open to conversation
Been quiet for a couple years, we'll see how this one goes.
