I remember that summer
Like it was yesterday.

I had to school to get back to
you had places to go.
You asked me drop out
come and tour the world.

And I said baby right now
I belong in high school.
Only one more can you wait that long?

You turned away and
I wrote you this song!

Chorus
___________________
I remember you kneeling in
the door way. Tears running down your
face. Begging me to come back but it
was my time turn away.
_______
Every time I look back
It stabs my heart.
I'm not that high school anymore.

I'm on my own in this world
and I'm gonna get married.
But I wonder if had tried a little
harder. Would be you instead of him?

I remember I always said
I would marry you one day.
You gave me a plastic ring
and I wore it like a true dimond.

And I remember those late nights
When we laughed curled up on the
sofa.
And I remember those day when I hurt you
I didn't deserve you but you never told me that.
And when you turned away,
You just stepped on my ego hurt that I didn't get my way

Chorus

_______

I was childish
and I still wonder what I ruined.
And I still wear that plastic ring
my boyfriend can't get it off.

He gave me pearls
but there not half as beautiful!

And I remember all those happy summer days
I tried to teach you how to
cook. You burnt it anyways.

I remember you were good
You where the one.
You asked me one thing
I didn't like and I acted like a child.

I can't reverse what I did back then
so many years ago.
As I walk down the isle in my white dress.

I hope you got the invitation
I sent you wanted you to say yes. And
see that I'm still wearing this plastic ring.

And I'm still stuck in summer

Chorus

Know that she's back in the atmosphere I'm afraid that she'll think of me as a plain old Jain told a story 'bout a man who was to afraid to fly so he never did land. ~Train

I really like these lyrics! Great job :) I'd love to see more work from you :) Very pop.

I say Wolf, for all wolves are not of the same sort; there is one kind with an amenable disposition – neither noisy, nor hateful, nor angry, but tame, obliging and gentle, following the young maids in the streets, even into their homes. Alas! Who does not know that these gentle wolves are of all such creatures the most dangerous!
— Charles Perrault
