Cedar is helpless as strange things occur in her old Grecian village. With the pressures of supporting her destitute family, she had to march forward and try and figure out just what's happening here.

The oceans surrounding her home beckon her with some strange warning. But she doesn't listen. And now she has to face the consequences.

Chapter one is done! I decided to skip writing my prologue until later, as it's gonna be some strange poetic style foreshadowing type thing and I simply did not have the brain power to both novel-mode write and poem-mode write. I also got a good page of chapter two done and I'm quite pleased with myself for going even just a LITTLE over on my word count. overall, good writing day, hopefully i'll be able to somewhat keep this pace.

AHHHH TODAY I'M SO HAPPY, I PEAKED 1.66 BEFORE NOON! So I decided to dabble some work into my prologue with the extra time, as well as wrapping up chapter 2 and writing the entirety of chapter 3!!! Today was a huge productivity day, I'm so happy, tomorrow to stay on progress I'll only have to write 750 (I'll probably do more to be safe during weekend plans) Overall, awesome day and real proud :.D

Late update! Got home late last night and didn't have time to post on the thread hehe. Anyways, yesterday I was super excited because I was writing some parts that I was really excited to write and got to introduce a couple of new characters that actually interact a lot more in the story instead of things happening to MC and overall causing a ruckus :.P I finished chapter four, trying to focus on making them a little longer too so I don't end up with 30 chapters @_@ Along the later days in the month I'll probably go in and detail the earlier chapters some more if I have the time. I went a little over yesterday to chip away more to hopefully get a free day sometime next week :.D

Gave myself a bit of a break day from the 1.7 considering i'm still ahead the second, dragged just a little in the writing process. Most of it today was dialogue, which always gets me down like "huh. how would these people have a normal conversation without Lux-ification" and it was sooo slowwwww. glad i'm staying ahead though, feeling pretty good

today was also a bit of a drag day. took me around 3 hours to get even this far. Again, bored with dialogue and wanting to just jump into the main event. My chapters are really short right now, so I'm thinking I'll go back and reorder them a bit post NaNo when I get into drafting more. Got into some MC "it's too good to last" moments and not gonna lie, I felt a bit of sympathy with the experience. Just a bit though. *cover's Cedar's mouth* It's for the sake of the plot, babes.

Today I did some major chapter rearranging and ended up putting two chapters into one in an attempt to make them longer. Didn't necessarily try to catch up too much as I found myself in a small bit of a stump, but that's okay, I'll chip away slowly tomorrow. I'll post the updated chapter stats tomorrow, too tired rn to think lol. Probably not the last of the rearrangements.
