Yes, I do mean that. I told him that because we were stuck on ideas, maybe you awesome people here can help us. He had ideas but his friend kept asking "Well, how would this work?" or "Dude, how are you going to put the wedge up high?" so we're finally like "Dude, stop. We don't care; just help us!"He didn't.

Anyway, he said he'd hurt me or something if I didn't post this. *shrugs* Here it goes:

We have to build three simple machines (doesn't matter what) to deflate a balloon, trigger a mousetrap, and have a golf ball go through a 45 and 90 degree angle. One of them has to raise a small flag. We can only use the following supplies, plus the table, and the less we use, the higher our grade:

Two thin rubber bands
Two blue straws
Two large paper cups
One mousetrap
Two golf balls
One sheet of 8 1/2 by 11 paper
One clear cup
One pin
Two balloons
Two feet of string
1/2 sheet of poster paper
Four feet of masking tape

Any ideas? Please.

Never mind; we're testing it today and we have no doubts that we're going to fail. It's still pretty funny to hear the guys say "I don't want to get killed; you do it." when refeering to the mouse trap. :)
