it was a tie between horses and dragons. horses are so noble and proud; like a writer. and dragons are fierce and courageous and undefinable. so really I couldn't decide.
I was caught between a dragon and a horse. Horses are graceful, and when running can seem very dramatic, which would be a nice thing to sybmolize that we take our writing seriously. Dragons are always awesome, because, well, they're dragons. But it would have to be an Eragon*-looking dragon(not the Harry Potter kind), as far as animation goes. I hate cheap-looking portrayals of dragons; it gives me a weird feeling for some reason. Red would be great for a dragon, or maybe blue. For a horse, I think a Spirit-esque horse would fit.
Gahh! I can't decide! I'm stuck between dragon and monkey. Hey, I know! A monkey riding a dragon! . . . OK, maybe that's not such a great idea. A monkey would suit YWS OK but a dragon would be cool. Hmm. . . maybe a horse. . .
We decided on Monkey a loooooong time ago, guys. xD

When we are children we seldom think of the future. This innocence leaves us free to enjoy ourselves as few adults can. The day we fret about the future is the day we leave our childhood behind. — Patrick Rothfuss, The Name of the Wind
