None can follow unless called.
None can hide if rung.
None can say, "For me, death hath not stung."

It is a mistake to think that one,
Is fast enough, Oh it surely,
Cannot be done, to take flight and from death to run.

Even if it were, would that
Merely be enough,
To not die, surely staunches life, I would think.

The happy ever after,
from Disney films and tales,
Is only in our dreams and not wisely pondered.

Cheer up, look to the heavens,
If death is the end,
Then why does my spirit remember the angels in the clouds.

I know not the location,
Nor the exact place,
But when I die, I'll know when I see my Father face to face.
