Character: Mad Hatter
Theme: Madness

Twinkle, Twinkle, little bat!
Fly far above the fray,
Oblivious to all who
cheer, Callooh and Callay!
Happy day is tea time
He himself has stopped
the dear old clock's chime
till my dear old mind has popped!
Why is the raven like a writing desk?
Quick, quick, think!
Oh be it an arduous task?
Settle down then, have a drink!
All the time in the world is yours
As long as it's time for tea
No rest, yet no chore.
Wonderful, can't you see
Who would expect less
from Wondrous Wonderland?
Certainly, it is not a pest
to be spitting mad rather than bland
Borogroves be mimsy, mome raths be outgrabe
Let us not forget that it twas brillig
what gyred slivey toves in the gabe
Yes, twas brillig!
Truth is out at last, hooray!
Nonsense? No. Never that.
Why can't you see, Callooh, Callay!
my furious, twinkling bat?

So fun! I personally think the Mad Hatter is the best character in Wonderland. He has so much to him that makes him an insanely cool dude. Keep up the mass creativity and the great attitude you've got going on. You have a knack for writing poetry.

Hard work often pays off after time, but laziness always pays off now. So does avoiding homework and creeping around YWS!

Fabulous! Definetly captures the Mad Hatter's madness.
Twinkle, Twinkle, little bat!

I remember this line from the Disney version of Alice in Wonderland. :)

Heyyy! Just like to say i really loved this poem! I've seen many of the submissions for this poetry contest and whoever is judging them is going to have one hell of a time trying to choose a winner. You got some competition but I still think this is a great piece and I absolutely loved it, this is a great poem from both the movie and the book (the book is better of course) So keep up the good work!
