CO2

by Tambo

Co2

Carbon dioxide (Short for Co2), is a vital atmospheric gas, crucial for environmental balance. Co2 was discovered by Joseph Black in the mid 18th century during his combustion studies.

Co2’s impact on earth

Carbon Dioxide dissolves in seawater, causing ocean acidification, hurting sea life. Extra carbon dioxide contributes to global warming, leading to unfortunate effects. Co2 makes up an estimated 0.04% of planet earth’s atmosphere. It also acts as a greenhouse gas, trapping heat to regulate earth's temperature. Human footprint, especially fossil fuel burning, are responsible for increasing carbon dioxide levels.

Classification

Carbon dioxide generally exists as a gas, but it can transform into a solid such as dry ice, or dissolve into water, this can be used for cooling and special effects. Co2 acts as a greenhouse gas, which is very important for warmth.

Co2 in everyday life

Co2 is used in industrial processes. Carbon dioxide is also used to carbonate drinks, such as sparkling water or soft drinks. Co2 fire extinguishers work by displacing oxygen, suffocating the flames.

Co2 makeup

Co2 stands for carbon dioxide and is invisible to the human eye.

In conclusion, carbon dioxide’s impact on earth is responsible for global warming due to human footprint. Carbon dioxide is a non-Newtonian fluid. Carbon dioxide is used for many things in our everyday life.

Co2. Wow, hello there. Love the description of what Carbon dioxide is and what it can do. You must be very into science. I like how you had mini titles to describe what was coming up next in the paragraph below. I also like that you described how it is caused and added a conclusion at the end. If I need science help, I know where to go. *wink wink*

Hey, Tambo! This is a review, so let's get into it!

To start, I love how this article was short and sweet. Sometimes simpler is better than more complicated.

Firstly, I was kind of confused for a second with the titles. How you named each topic was very smart, but at first, I couldn't really tell what it was. Maybe try highlighting them somehow, or making them bold. That might make it easier to recognize as a title.

Secondly, you seem to be repeating your self:

Carbon dioxide (Short for Co2)

and then later you stated:
Co2 stands for carbon dioxide...

You already told us that Co2 is carbon dioxide, so you don't need to reiterate it. In informational texts, if you tell a reader the same information over and over again, it can be a turn-off. Also, carbon dioxide is not short for Co2, as carbon dioxide is longer. Try rewrite it like this:
Co2 (short for carbon dioxide)

or like this:
Carbon dioxide (also known as Co2)

Thirdly, you use the word "Co2" a LOT throughout the text. Again, being redundant can turn off a reader. Instead of just saying "Co2 is used..." or "Co2 Co2 in everyday...", you can put in things like "this element is used..." or even a simple "it's uses in everyday...".

Reminder: THIS IS YOUR WRITING!
If you aren't sure about my corrections, feel free to keep your work the way it is. It's a beautiful masterpiece no matter what!

Happy writing, my friend. Peace.

As a person who is into advanced science, I think that you did a great job on making informative but simple way of showing how Co2 is a important gas in our universe. You show a lot different uses of Co2 and make it simple to understand which a kinda hard thing to do. Tho, I do think you should of menshond the we breathe out Co2, but other then that its great. Good job on the article and keep writing!
