What's that whole bbc coding thing? I've seen users who put that on character profiles for others, so that you can just hit the "select "all thing. Am I making any sense? I don't think I am xD

I recently discovered that you can use basically any colour in BBCoding. Below are the colours I discovered, some of them well-known, others... not as much. The coding is the same as that which is listed in Lumi's first post, but without the spaces between the colours' names. Oh, and I put them in bold for easier viewing.
Some of the colours are maroon, dark red, crimson, red, orange, gold, yellow, olive, light green, lime, green, dark green, teal, turquoise, cyan, blue, dark blue, navy, purple, magenta, violet, plum, pink, silver, light greydark grey, grey, white, lavender, light blue, azure, beige, tan, and brown.
But don't stop there! The esteemed @Lareine's colour of preference is dark slate grey, and @TheSilverFox discovered aquamarine and indigo, so experiment to your heart's content!
EDIT: Just remember to use American English in the coding, so "grey" becomes "gray".

If I remember the HTML correctly, then magenta and fuchsia are two different names for the same web colour, despite the actual colours differing. It's well-spotted, though - I'll definitely grant you that.

Open the spoiler in this post with caution - every possible named colour BBCoding is in there. If you want to know what the coding for a colour is, just remove any spaces (if the name consists of more than one name) and use American spelling, i.e. grey → gray.

@Liberty500 you just write the name of the color (withoutspaces) in the color code. In the example below just replace "NAME" with the name of the color you want and put your text in the middle. Astral gives all the names of the colors in the spoiler that they used.
