If I could just freeze
This moment in time
And not have to worry
About that test tomorrow
Or what I’m going to wear
At the next dance.

Even though it would
Be fun,
to go there with you
It’s just not the same
As when we lie here
Your arms around me

Safe from the world.

So take a picture, darling
So that I can remember
This feeling
After you’re gone.
And no matter how much time
Passes, I can still
Come back to the world
